🎯 The Role

As a Frontend Principal Engineer on the Clumio team, you will serve as the technical leader for the UI platform that powers Commvault's SaaS experience. Reporting to the Engineering Director, this role perfectly blends rigorous hands-on engineering with architectural oversight, empowering you to build highly scalable, reliable frontend applications.

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable frontend systems using cloud-native patterns.
• Establish and evolve shared frontend platforms, developing design systems and component libraries.
• Drive complex platform initiatives from problem definition through production release.
• Remain deeply hands-on, writing quality code and troubleshooting complex frontend application challenges.
• Mentor fellow engineers and define overarching frontend standards for cross-functional teams.

✅ What You'll Need

• 8+ years of impactful professional frontend/UI engineering experience.
• Extensive hands-on background with modern SPA frameworks, highly preferring React or Next.js.
• In-depth mastery of TypeScript to design robust, type-safe, and scalable architectures.
• Experience navigating and optimizing frontend build systems like Webpack or Vite.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize testing tools like Jest and React Testing Library.
• A highly collaborative, team-first mindset with experience driving technical vision across teams.
