🎯 The Role

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will own the architecture, quality, and scalability of frontend systems. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape product performance, mentor a team of engineers, and establish the engineering standards that define how Vegapay’s applications feel and evolve.

🛠️ Tech Stack

• React JS, Hooks, TypeScript
• State Management (Redux, Zustand)
• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Build Tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)
• Testing (Jest, Cypress)

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable frontend systems using React
• Mentor and manage a team of frontend engineers through code reviews and hiring
• Drive best practices for performance, security, and responsive design
• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver end-to-end features
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across various browsers and devices
• Stay updated with the evolving frontend ecosystem to drive internal adoption

✅ What You'll Need

• 7-10 years of experience in frontend development
• At least 2 years in a leadership or architectural role
• Mastery of React and modern UI patterns
• Experience with REST APIs and complex backend integrations
• Strong understanding of caching, lazy loading, and rendering strategies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience in B2C fintech or consumer internet sectors
• Familiarity with React Native ecosystems
• Strong background in mobile-first development
