🎯 The Role

As a Software Engineer 3 (Frontend), you will be a key contributor to the eBay Ads platform. This is a senior-level individual contributor role where you will lead the development of complex features, architect frontend systems for performance, and ensure our advertising tools are intuitive and lightning-fast for users worldwide.

💼 What You'll Do

• Lead the development of new features for the Ads portal using React and TypeScript.
• Architect frontend solutions that are modular, testable, and highly performant.
• Work closely with UX designers to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the frontend stack.
• Mentor other engineers and advocate for frontend best practices across the team.

✅ What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience building large-scale web applications.
• Deep expertise in the React ecosystem and modern frontend architecture.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and asynchronous JavaScript.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and understanding of backend integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on writing high-quality, reusable code.

🌟 Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL or Apollo Client.
• Prior experience in the Ad-Tech or E-commerce industry.
• Contributions to open-source frontend libraries.
