🎯 The Role
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III to join an agile Asset & Wealth Management team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, delivering, and troubleshooting critical technology solutions that directly support the firm's overarching business objectives and portfolio optimization applications.

💼 What You'll Do
- Collaborate directly with portfolio managers to architect and develop sophisticated portfolio construction and optimization applications.
- Write, review, and debug highly secure, production-grade frontend code.
- Proactively identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to drastically improve operational stability.
- Play a key role in sweeping modernization initiatives, specifically migrating legacy services to Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Develop a deep understanding of data loads and intricate processes related to portfolio systems to provide comprehensive support.
✅ What You'll Need
- Minimum of 3 years of applied professional experience with a proven track record developing in React JS.
- A rock-solid foundation in core computer science principles, specifically object-oriented design and the software development lifecycle.
- Prior experience excelling in a fast-paced, front-office financial services environment.
- Demonstrated expertise operating within an Agile programming framework with a sharp focus on delivery.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a proactive methodology.

- Professional experience programming in Java.
- A strong background in statistics or quantitative analysis.
- Relevant financial certifications or degrees such as a CFA, FRM, CQF, MBA, or a Financial Engineering degree.
